The Copyright in VietNam.
The Copyright had been mentioned about in Viet Nam in 1987 under the name of Hang bao ho Quyen tac gia Viet Nam (the Office to Protect the Copyright of Authors of Vietnam) which was then renamed Cuc Ban Quyen Tac Gia (The Copyright Office of VietNam).

On November 14th, 2014, the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Travel of VietNam officially declare The Copyright Office of VietNam is a department under the control of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Travel of VietNam. This department has the right to
1. Help the government in controlling the Copyrights according the government policies.
2. Inform the government any policies related to supplying, cooperating, ordering and guaranteeing the Copyrights of works, performances, recordings, audios.
