The third week in U.S

Hello everyone! I am Nguyet Nguyen (Moon). I am from Viet Nam. I am a lecturer of English at An Giang University in Long Xuyen , a small city in the South of Viet Nam. I love my job very much because every year I have many new students who are quite smart and friendly. I am not only their teacher but also their friend, their sister who they can come to take advises or share things.

This year, I am very lucky to become a member of the Brunei-U.S. English Language Enrichment Project for Asian 2014. I am very grateful for all what I have learnt and got so far. I love my friends and my teachers. They are so kind and lovely. I will never forget the time by them.

The second day is a nice and experiential journey to Waikele. It is a good start when I was instructed carefully by the man in the front desk how to get there. It was a long way there but we were not lonely because there were many friends around us. I also had a fun and interesting with one of my friends. Thanks to it, I have a better understanding of the their lifestyles and culture.
The shopping outlet is a great place to go shopping and window shopping, too. We can widen our knowledge about shopping habits a living styles of people around the world (at least the ones I meet in the outlet:)).
On the way back, my Lao friend took us to China town, which was now much better than the previous times. The merchants were nice and the view was beautiful.
The worst part of the whole trip was that we had to wait for the bus for about an hour. Anyway, it was a nice and unforgettable trip.

The third day
Today, it was really an exciting day because I have learned many things that I really like before but I did not know how to make them.
First, I learned how to make a movie for myself. It's fantastic because I can now send my record to my friends and family.
- Movie Maker/ Webcam record.Second, I learn how to add some affects to my own video to make it more interesting.
- Movie maker/ Browse/ Edit to trim or split the videos.
- Movie maker/ Browse/Home to add Title/ Capture or Credit.
- Movie maker/ Browse/Home/Add Music to add music
Last but not least important is that now I can download videos from YouTube as well as convert them into mp3 files.

The forth day is a nice day but so much fun activities.
First, we learn how to make our own audio with photos of life events and how to insert words and background music into it.
- Audacity/ import photos/ next/ next /next...
Second, we are introduced some educational games which can be used in teaching. They are very good and useful.
Third, we learn how to make own our Voki.
Voki.com/ select suitable character/ type text/ choose voice/ add to g+ or Blogger

The fifth day is awesome to me.
In the morning, we have a small activity. in the activity, the professor asks us to work in a group of 3 or 4 members from different countries. It is so great. This time, I ask for the permission to join York's group including Dolly, York (from Brunei) and Pherun (from Cambodia). They are good and kind to me. We can finish the task in the morning. Thank you, my group members so much because you all are good but you are not haughty. I am grateful for this opportunity to work with you all.
In the afternoon, we are instructed and guided carefully about the final assignment, a workshop proposal. After sometimes of discussion and negotiation, we can finally come to the agreement on what we will do for the final project. It is much better because before we leave the class, we divide the duty equally for everyone. Even though some may be more difficult than the others, I actually hope that we can cooperate well and fulfill the task effectively.
